Paul Bradley:Guitar, John Paul Gard:Keyboards, Duncan Kingston:Bass, Henry Shaftoe:Drums, Colin Tully:Saxophones The band was initially conceived by Colin Tully back in the late nineties...a response to having spent many years in Bristol separated from his Scottish roots. The idea of taking themes derived from the Scots/Irish tradition and weaving into a broadly jazz context is still at the heart of the groups' sound today. Sensorium has performed at festivals as far flung as St Ives, Cornwall and Newcastle, Northumbria, and has been featured on BBC Radio 3's 'Late Junction' programme. Following the success of Sensorium's first CD: Celtic Fields', the band has released a predominantly live album: 'A Fine Line' recorded at the QEH Theatre, Bristol in January 2005. The CD, recorded before a packed and delighted audience, also includes 2 studio recordings. |
